Our next public performance is on 19 December at the Rialto Club in Brighton, starting at 8pm with the bar open from 7pm. This is our annual non-Christmassy danceathon and this time the band is donating our proceeds to the Martlets hospice.
The Rialto is easy to find, on 11 Dyke Road, 2 minutes walk up the hill from the Clock Tower or through the arcade leading off Western Road opposite Churchill Square.
It has been a busy year for the band ranging from playing at a festival in a field in Shropshire, serenading at a 70th Wedding Anniversary, entertaining an international conference at Brighton University, and wowing the crowds and the Shoreham Wordfest wrap party.
There are a few new photos on the website from this year’s events.
We have added a number of new songs to our repertoire including old favourites I Will Survive and Lady Marmalade. Also Ray is increasingly getting his Sax out – it is worth coming along for that alone!
Hope to see you at the Rialto, and remember if you have a birthday or other celebration coming up, give us a call or email us – details on the book the band page
